Companion Progression System

Astrofel are special animals that usually feature in their bonded's posts as secondary/supporting characters, though they can occasionally be posted individually.

Characters who bonded with an Astrofel after will bond with a New Ognos Astrofel. These have features unique to the original subspecies.

Astrofel (optional)

Characters arriving on New Ognos already bonded to an Astrofel will likely meet one of these three conditions:

They lived on Old Ognos and are returning with the same Astrofel they left with.

They bonded after the fall of Old Ognos with an Astrofel who's bonded partner died, either during the island's destruction or after.

They bonded with an Astrofel born to parents from Old Ognos; these Astrofel may have unique features.

Characters may also bond with Astrofel at any point after joining; these New World Astrofel have many unique features.

You can buy an Astrofel from the Marketplace or pay with a 600+ word in-character post by the character you are creating a bond for.
