Guilds are organizations that characters can join to access community, training, exclusive quests, special discounts, and collective benefits in pursuit of professional or social goals. After joining, characters can work together with their guildmates or take on individual tasks to help level up their Guild, unlocking and enhancing member benefits.

Joining a Guild

  • Characters can join a guild at any time by updating the "Guild" and "Guild Position" fields on their profile.

Guild Participation

  • Any in-character post that references a character's Guild or their guild duties can be marked with the 'Guild' checkbox; a list of example Guild Duties can be found on each Guild's profile, but players are also welcome to come up with their own assignments/duties if they have alternate ideas.
  • Each post tagged with 'Guild' will have a chance to spawn a guild-oriented event. Events may be solo (addressed to the character who triggered it) or collaborative/open to all guild members. Examples of events include, but are not limited to:
    • A general request made by an NPC to the guild or a character, which could involve tasks ranging from mundane errands to complex missions.
    • An opportunity for the guild or character to receive a special reward. This could come in the form of items, recognition, abilities, or alliances.
    • The guild progresses towards its goals, whether through building infrastructure, gaining new influence, or developing their reputation.
    • A situation that requires the guild’s immediate intervention. This could be anything from emergencies in the town to threats in their Guild Hall.
    • The guild or character is granted special access to restricted areas, rare resources, discounts, or knowledge.
    • An opportunity to either collaborate with others, whether guilds or townspeople, or to engage in a competition that challenges the guild’s abilities and skills.
    • An event that leads the guild to explore a new area or uncover a hidden secret, which may have an impact on their standing or provide new opportunities.
    • The guild is called upon to defend a person, place, or resource, either proactively or reactively. This could also be related to escorting someone safely.
    • A guild-related tradition, cultural practice, or ritual that members can partake in, often leading to either celebration or introspection.
    • An event that involves gathering, managing, or securing resources for the guild’s purposes, either to fulfill a specific goal or to sustain the guild's ongoing activities.
    • A request is made for the guild to mediate or resolve a conflict, either between NPCs, factions, or even other guilds, requiring diplomacy and negotiation.
    • The guild is given the chance to recruit a new member or mentor someone, which may lead to strengthening their ranks or creating new bonds.
    • An event that tests a specific guild member, often involving a personal challenge or proving their dedication or abilities.
  • Each guild will also offer dynamic bounties that characters can complete for special rewards; the bounties offered and the prizes they produce will change each time the page is refreshed, so if you see something you want to do/earn, be sure to grab it!

Create Your Own / Future Guilds

  • We plan to add additional guilds in future -- these may be discovered during Seasons, mini-games, etc. or released when we hit certain character/player milestones.
    • When additional guilds are established, players will have the ability to change membership into the new guild at a discount.
    • We may also allow characters to join multiple guilds in future, depending on interest.
    • If you have any ideas or suggestions for future guilds, please let us know!
  • Characters may also found their own guilds by gathering three or more characters and filling out the form on the Guilds page. The three characters must be played by different people, however, one character can be a NPC.
